Bay window restoration and rebuild services
At Grand Granite Limited, our stonemasons have restored and replaced hundreds of stone bay and mullion windows. We provide the full service—survey, stone matching, templating, fabrication, and expert installation—delivering a superior finish with traditional techniques and modern precision.
We repair, restore, and replace damaged stonework, including cills, jambs, mullions, heads, and decorative details. Our team works across period styles—Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian—carefully matching profiles, tooling, and mortar (including lime-based repairs) to preserve the building’s character and integrity.
Brickwork restoration and repair
We offer a full range of brick restoration, lime mortar pointing, paint removal, damaged brick replacement, brick cleaning, brick repointing, stone cleaning and restoration services. We work for both residential homeowners and commercial clients. To achieve the highest level of finish we employ a complete in-house team of stone masons, master bricklayers, carpenters, renderers, lead workers and decorators who all have years of experience.
Carving stone and bespoke creations
In the Grand Granite Limited workshop, our stonemasons hand-work and carve every type of architectural element. We carve stone bay window mullions, capital stones, lintels and sills, stone finials, string courses, apex stones, springer stones, and bespoke and one-off creations such as huge Portland stone urns and surrounds.
Porticos and balustrades
We design, carve/cast, and install bespoke stone balustrades and porticos—from faithful restorations to new statement entrances. Complete systems include plinths, balusters, handrails, copings, columns, and pediments, delivered with precise detailing and compliant fixings. Share your style and dimensions and we’ll recommend the ideal stone, profiles, and finish for a refined, long-lasting result.
Stone and building facade restoration
Grand Granite Limited delivers end-to-end façade restoration for commercial, historic, and residential buildings. We handle structural and crack repairs, brick restoration, stone indents/dutchman repairs, and lime repointing. Our team also produces hand-carved architectural stonework, lettering and sculpture, and completes envelopes with brickwork, render, pointing, and decoration.
Stone steps and paving
Our specialist team—stonemasons, master bricklayers, renderers, and metal fabricators—delivers a complete package: steps, paving, and metalwork.
We manufacture, supply, and install traditional British limestones and sandstones.
For replacements, we handle brickwork, rendering, waterproofing, and decoration, with custom handrails and balustrades as required.
